We’re all about beauty with a touch of fun, providing every client with an exceptional and personalized experience in our ‘90s-infused luxury space. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible when you walk through our doors, which is 50% us and 50% you. Preparing for Your Beauty Bar First Visit
Getting a Custom Airbrush Spray Tan?
The Prep: Exfoliate your skin all over with an exfoliating glove and scrub. Airbrush spray tans work best on exfoliated skin! You should also shave, wax, or remove any unwanted hair 24 to 48 hours before your session. DO NOT wear any lotions, deodorant, perfumes, or oil-based products. They can block the even absorption of our tanning solution.
What to Wear: Wear dark, loose-fitting long pants, a baggy shirt, and flip-flops or other loose shoes.
What to Wear During Your Session: There aren’t any beauty bar rules for your attire! You can wear a bikini, bra, thong, or go nude – whatever makes you feel at ease. Remember: There’s NO JUDGMENT at Model Behavior, whether it’s your first beauty bar visit or your fiftieth!
Getting Sugared?
The Prep: Make sure you have around 10 to days of hair growth before getting sugared. Your hair should be about the size of a grain of rice.
Will it Hurt?: Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but many consider sugaring less painful than traditional waxing. Our beauty bar customer service is top-tier! Our technicians will do their best to keep you entertained with conversation, television, or movies.
Getting a Lash Lift or Brow Lamination?
The Prep: Please come to your appointment mascara-free.
The Aftercare: Avoid water and mascara on your lashes for the first 48 hours after your beauty bar visit. You should also apply the serum we provide before bed. If you have a brow lamination, avoid touching or applying makeup to your brows, and refrain from exposure to water and steam. Apply the provided brow balm daily, preferably before bedtime.

A Few Beauty Bar Rules Before Your First Visit
- We request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Late cancellations will incur a charge of half of your service fee.
- No-shows will be charged full price.
- We’re led by kindness. Please be respectful of your technician and fellow guests to maintain Model Behavior as an inviting space for all.
